This Limited Edition of 500 prints has been produced from an original oil painting by Patrick J Killian. As an Amateur Joe won three consecutive senior British ABA titles from 1991 to 1993. This made him only the second boxer in history to record the feat of securing these belts at welter, light middle and middleweight divisions. He turned pro in 1993 and his crowning glory coming with his epic bout against Chris Eubank on the 11th October 1997 for the WBO world crown. This Fine Art print shows Calzaghe winning the title from Eubank, defending against Robin Reid, Charles Brewer and Byron Mitchell, where he showed tremendous guts and courage to climb off the canvas and stop Mitchell, the relief of winning that fight can clearly be seen. Each print has been individually numbered and hand signed by the artist Patrick J Killian. A certificate of authenticity accompanies each print.
